Boilerplate

Short (one line): Peppies is building America's first trusted peptides brand - starting as an independent, cited education resource explaining therapeutic peptides and tracking their U.S. regulatory status in plain English; it does not sell peptides and will not until they are legal to sell.

Standard (paragraph): Peppies ("Peptides for Life") is a company building toward being America's first trusted peptides brand. Today it operates as an independent education resource covering therapeutic peptides - what they are, what the research does and does not show, and where each one stands with U.S. regulators - with every claim cited to a primary source. Peppies is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration or any government body. It does not currently sell, promote, or facilitate the sale of any drug or peptide, and will not offer peptide products unless and until they are legal to sell.

Key facts & timeline

The following are drawn from public FDA materials and reporting; see the references on the BPC-157 page for source links.

Sep 2023
FDA places a group of peptides, including BPC-157, in "Category 2" of its interim list of bulk drug substances for pharmacy compounding under section 503A, citing safety concerns.
Apr 2026
FDA removes 12 peptides - including BPC-157 - from Category 2 and refers them to an advisory committee. Removal is not approval.
Jul 23-24, 2026
The Pharmacy Compounding Advisory Committee meets to review seven peptides and vote non-binding recommendations. Meeting docket: FDA-2025-N-6895 (docket closes July 22, 2026).
After the meeting
FDA decides whether to open formal rulemaking. That later rulemaking is the public comment window that carries legal weight.

What Peppies does - and doesn't

Does: publish plain-English, primary-source-cited explainers on individual peptides and the regulatory process; notify subscribers when the official public comment window opens.

Does not: sell or market peptides, offer medical advice, or claim any peptide treats, cures, or prevents any condition. Peppies takes no position that a given peptide is safe or effective; it reports the state of the evidence and the regulatory record.
